Unlike my habits, I drew on paper this time. This is a quick study of the Athame (ritual and magical dagger) for the Chronicles of Arcea. This weapon is a great importance in the story and for Elwen's destiny. I don't know yet which design I prefer and I want to take time to choose, this athame will be on the title page of the first chapiter of the comic book.

Well, I guess it depends on whose the athame belongs to - if it's to higher rank, then perhaps less entangled ribbons would be adequate as more attention would be put in decorating the materials itself while in lower class where you have less time on refined works you use less decorations and more of other materials to make them look good. Yes, well... that's only me.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery, but today is a gift. That's why they call it the Present.
Some nice designs there, though I personally prefer those with more twine on them. The rounded end with the tassels on it is pretty cool too.

It is difficult to define. It is a great artefact but in the same time, it could be very banal to hide is own valor. It's very old and done by a dead civilisation.
Just to help you: when you say "I steal don't know with design I prefer", I think you meant "I don't know yet which design I prefer".
But if it helps, I prefer the fisrt one on the left. But of course, if it's going to play a important rule on your history, it must be chosen carefully.
